Note: As per the literary custom of the eighteenth century, the letter f generally replaced s in the body of a given word throughout the original article. For the sake of expedience, our transcription follows modern practice in this particular regard, so all words are presented without the f replacement of s. Square brackets [ ] are also used to add clarifications for letters and words that were not clear as part of the text.
